How do I transfer email from AOL to Gmail?

Transferring email from AOL to Gmail is super-easy. Just follow these simple steps.

Start by surfing over to www.yippiemove.com and scroll down to the bottom of the page. Click 'Start Now.'

In Step 1, you need to provide YippieMove with information about your AOL account. Enter your AOL address next to 'Account Login' (eg. myaol-account@aol.com), and your AOL password next to 'Password.'

You also need to select 'AOL' in the 'Provider' drop-down list. When you're done with this, press 'Next.'

Step 2 is just like Step 1, but for your Gmail account. Enter your Gmail account (eg. mygmail-account@gmail.com) and your password. You also need to select 'Gmail' in the provider-list and press 'Next.'

Step 3 is the final step. In this step you select the folders you want to copy from AOL to Gmail. By default, all folders but "Spam" should be selected. In most cases, the default selection is fine. If not, use the checkboxes next to the folder names to select/deselect folders.
